| DJ Gray | The geek squad is a joke. I've used them in the past because they're convenient, but never again. Just walked in to have them clean up my laptop. Should be a simple drop and pick up a few days later. Wrong. I didn't have an appointment. The young guy that was helping me asked if I had an appointment, I said no. He said that he had an appointment coming in, then asked the lady waiting behind me if she had an appointment. She said no. After turning her away he asked if I could come back later. I said no. I work in sales and I'm always of the opinion that your best customer is the one in front of you. So they're willing to turn away or push off guaranteed business for the hope that an appointment shows up? Ridiculous. Forget you geek squad and in turn, Best Buy. There are PLENTY of tech stores and IT guys out there. You lost another customer today. |
