| JJK | Gave me the run around. They wouldn't quote me a price for a new motor, they were only interested in trying to get me to bring in my entire vacuum so they could do the replacement and charge me 'a lot more' money. I had already told them I had the motor out and had bench tested it. It literally took me 5 minutes to take apart with a screw driver and pliers it's 4 screws, 3 springs and 2 electrical connections to take the motor out and put the new one in, a child could do it. I hated to order it online, because we are losing the convenience of our retail stores, but it's likely cheaper and they didn't really give me any alternative, as they never gave me a price for just the part motor, just tried to sell up their service. Maybe they were trying to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman? Bummer all the way around. |
