Brenda Clark | Terrible customer service. I rated one star only because I cant put in a negative. I called on 1/28/2020 to inquire of a service repair for my parent's refrigerator purchased at Conn's along with a service agreement. The refrigerator was purchased 1/2018 and the service agreement expires in 2021. The handled is coming loose from the door. My parents are in their 80's and was mislead on purchasing the service agreement and had been told the handle is cosmetic, not mechanical and therefore is not covered. Conn's offered to send a tech out to repair it for a fee. I spoke to Britney and after much disappointment requested a supervisor. I was on hold for 10 minutes then Bianca came online, this too was useless and I asked for someone over her and was denied. Bianca asked for my name again and phone number and she would request a supervisor on the morning or day shift contact me. No one called on 1/29 or 1/30. I called on today 1/31 and spoke to Elaina with the same result. Coming from and giving customer service someone there should be able to go outside the script. The sales reps are misleading when selling the service contracts, they took advantage of my elderly parents. Well I tried and tried to get them to go to Lowes or Home Depot because I heard Conn's was terrible, now she says she should have listened to me. By the way I use to shop Conn's but had a bad experience too. I will and have advised my friends of this since we too are senior citizens so they will not be tricked. I would not break the company to fix the handle. The service contract is with Conn's and not the manufacturer of the refrigerator. At this time I would rate the customer service a negative 5. |
