My wife and I and our two small children were heading home from a week at Lake Lure when we realized that our front tire had a screw stuck in it and was losing air fast. My wife did a quick Google search and came up with Baker's Automotive as the closest place that might be able to help us. Tension was high, as we really weren't looking forward to waiting god knows how long and paying god knows how much to get our tire fixed or replaced. We needn't have worried. The great people at Baker's Automotive took care of us immediately, despite having a full waiting room. The mechanicI didn't catch his name, but I think I heard someone call him “G” or something that sounded like thatran into the parking lot and patched our tire on the spot, topped off all the tires with air and sent us on our way. The whole thing took only slightly longer than getting gas. Best of all, we were charged a mere 11 for the VIP treatment we got. Absolutely incredible! Consider yourself lucky if you ever come here for your car needs. Thank you, Baker's Automotive! |
