Karen D | I won't return. While my machine was fixed, both the owner and the employee were so incredibly RUDE from the moment we walked in the store. I have an old, but in decent shape sewing machine, from my mom. The one employee twisted and turned on some things in a manner that did not convince me she was competent. The owner complained that it was an old machine. I was polite and stated that I realized that--however, it is a good machine for a learner and if it can be repaired, I am happy with that. Even when I picked up the repaired machine, he would not tell me what he had done--only that he fixed it. I am paying for a service on equipment I own and it is reasonable to want to know what you did. I wish I had followed my instincts when I was in the store to just walk out with my machine. I would rather drive 3 hours to another repair shop than return to a store where I am treated so rudely. When I picked up the machine, there was a Latina woman who entered and he was so rude to her--even more so. I always try to support local owned businesses over large corporations, but this is one where I will not return. There are other vacuum cleaner and sewing machine shops in the Triangle where I will take my business. |
David B | Owner clearly has issues communicating in a polite manner. Business starts with the customer, if you can't make a connection even on the lowliest levels of being a human seeking a service then we can take our money elsewhere. |
Jacqueline Thomas | Didn't like his personality. Appeared rude, abrupt and just plain mean. Never greeted my mother nor me. As I politely walked in a greeted him with a handshake and smile. My mothis elderly but still very able to converse and understand. She exclaimed over some unique dusters he had hanging, . When she asked the cos . He snapped,"There Marked". I politely listened to him a moment further. Said I'd consider my options and possibly return. I have decided that I never will. I'm All for things Made In The USA, but I got a bad feel for each of his vacuum cleaners having a tag with a Question, BORN IN THE USA? ME TOO. I am an American citizen, born right here in the USA, but I took offense to that. Perhaps I'm wrong, with the wrong idea. I'll accept that, but his behavior was addition to my distaste. I will not be one of his customers. I wish him success nonetheless. |
