Appliance Repair by Skyfire Appliance Repair in Louisville, Kentucky

Please, please, don't let this guy name Chris fool you, he literally steals money, don't fix anything and never respond again. He ask for 386.90 to fix my washer gave him 50 come back next day and told me it was fix just needed to wait like an hour cause it was reprogramming, a big lie took other half of the money and never answer me back, he is a thief.

Had Skyfire come to my house to repair a dishwasher. When he's done I tell him to make sure it runs before I hand him a check. He turns it on but it won't run. He removes some panel and flips some sort of reset switch, then he closes the panel and runs the dishwasher. In hindsight, I suspect that Chris knew then that the switch was just a temporary fix. Anyway, I paid Chris the money. The dishwasher never worked again after that. I called Chris with Skyfire to come back out and fix this. He makes up countless excuses about why he can't come out. He'd promise to be at my house at an agreed up time to finish the repair but would never show up or call. This went on for weeks until we figured out he had no intention of coming back and was just telling us stories until we gave up. Finally he agreed to return our money. We never got a check from him. We did get some excuses about the bank or post office messing up the check that was supposedly in the mail. We eventually just got a new dishwasher. This has been the worst experience I've had with a company in the 20+ years I've been a homeowner. One last thing I'll add is that I posted this on the Skyfire facebook page which was full of reviews just like this one. That page is now gone and Chris has apparently created a new page in an effort to purge all the bad reviews.
