Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Louisville, Kentucky

I was told the diagnostic fee came off the price of the repair. I was also told the repair person would know what they were doing. This guy spent the whole time on his phone with someone else who was telling him what to look for and then tried to sell me a home warranty. At the end of the day.,the repair man had no idea what he was doing. there were no parts, have to order a 100.00 part and charging me 300.00 to put it in. That is highway robbery!!!! ending up paying 100.00 for nothing and feel completely robbed.

Would not service my area even though my Kenmore was just a little over a year old. I will never buy another Kenmore.

If I could give them minus stars I would. What they don't tell you when you call for an appointment is they will try and up-sale you a maintance service policy on all your appliances. If you refuse to buy it, then they won't fix your appliance you called them on. They told me it would be 250 to fix my dryer, but I had to purchase an additional 50 a month maintanance contract 600 a year on my appliance or they wouldn't fix my dryer. You're out the 99 service fee, and your appliance still isn't fixed. I ended up fixing it myself for 35 in parts and an hour work. They're listed with a local address and phone number, but you're switched to a national call center. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Do NOT do business with Sears!!!

After waiting for more than a month we are still no closer to having the appliance repaired. Outsourcing your scheduling and customer service to an out of state facility does your customers a huge disservice since problems can not be addressed in any type of personal or direct manner. We ended up ordering a part which your company seems to be unable to get a hold of and still had to deal with a no show from the technician since your reps didn't properly note our account. 30+days is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for any kind of service. I would definitely not recommend your services to anyone.

Ridiculous 275 labor fee for a total of 20 minutes time and maybe 10 minutes of actual "labor" the remaining time was spent trying to sell me a warranty. Arrived at 5pm in a 1-5 window. Did not call until nearly 3pm to give an ETA. I will never use Sears again.

My call for service was answered quickly and they did have a service person on call. I received the person in a few hours and was able to replace a part and all was up and running soon. Very please with this call.

The repairman was on time, courteous and knowledgeable .. Wish they were all like that..
