| Brittney Bleuel | I took my car in and requested the water pump be replaced. I was told my water pump gaskets and my serpentine belt were replaced upon picking up the car and that my engine coolant was refilled. My water pump itself, however, was never replaced and I was not informed that my serpentine belt was being replaced until after it had been done. I should've been notified that it needed done and asked if it was something I wanted done right then and I wasn't. I ended up paying 50 for this when my fiancee could've purchased and replaced the belt himself for much cheaper. There was a hole in one of my water hoses that should've been noticed but was left untouched. The gaskets were not replaced like I was told. A friend of mine noticed the gasket issue while replacing my water pump for me when I broke down 1 month after picking up my car from Weaver's. The hole in the hose was pointed out to me by a girl friend of mine simply by popping the hood of my car. She didn't even have to take the car apart to tell me this.The worst part is that when we confronted the mechanic my fiancee and I went separately and an hour apart and we were told 2 different things. I most definitely will NOT be returning. |
