| masingleton1937 . | I set up an appointment with Sears for a 1pm to 5pm window to fix an issue with a fridge I bought from the store three years back. When I finally heard from the technician close to 3pm, I found out that he had the wrong address about three hours away. He canceled the appointment. I called support to figure out how such a mistake could be made. The cities we are in don't even sound remotely similar and I never lived anywhere near there. My correct info s on file, but their routing team butchered my address badly. Worst yet, Sears had no more scheduled openings. I requested that the rep put down my correct address and called back a few days later to confirm my address multiple times and try again to schedule an appointment which would be a week later. On the day, a technician called again and shared that he was at the same address I just told Sears was invalid. This time, I angrily called Sears to determine how the same mistake could be made twice. I finally got a technician a week later from that date. They did fix the fridge issue partially, but I was recommended to get a plumber to finish the job. I did get a coupon taking 20 off the 100 service fee, but it's not worth putting up with this service anymore. |
