Mr Forbes | Alumni A/C came to my rescue. I had ac problems with a 6 yrs old a/c unit and I was constantly getting the run around with another A/C company. I noticed the a/c was not cooling at all. They were just doing a service call recharging the system and charging me and not actually fixing the problem. I called Alumni A/C and Mr. Smith identified the problem right away. Not only the unit was bad it also had leaks. Miner leaks are easily over looked and are the worst leaks he said. It cause the a/c unit to freeze up and work harder. Its a possibility it shorten the life span of the a/c unit. No telling how long the leaks was there he said. Mr. Smith installed a new a/c unit in timely manor and fixed all the leaks. I would definitely recommend him to anyone for a/c work. Thank you Alumni A/C for your honesty and professional a/c work. |
james stocks | System installed in June of 2015. As well as “new ducting”. Was supposed to be free 1 year maintenance. Never heard from the guy in the first year. Called another company to set up maintenance contract. Found that ducting was poorly installed and not sized correctly. Supply to distribution connect way to small and not able to use the system's capacity. Big cracks and spaces around connect to each duct. Breaks in main trunk line. Unit was sucking hot air from the attic. As a result coils were totally clogged and need to be replaced. Need total replacement of duct work. Old returns that I was told were taken out were not. Totally messed up job. My advice, don't use this company. You may pay a little more for a reputable company but it will cost you less in the long run. |
