Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Newark, Delaware

Technicians arrived on time, were courteous and professional and replaced several worn parts which seemed likely to be causing a banging noise when the washer was running. Unfortunately those noises have come back and we need to call again. Overall our experience with Sears appliance repair has been excellent which is why I rated them 5 stars.

Repairman came out the same morning, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.

Service was good but technician did not push the refrigerator back for my elderly mother so it stayed in the middle of the kitchen until I maneuvered it back in place.

The person who came and the work he did was fine. The issue is it costs 315.00 to clear my frozen drain from my ice maker, which took all of 20 min at best. He did tell me the price upfront however I didn't know what else to do. My Grandson said to look on line for this kind of stuff. So I'm glad it is fixed but I feel like it was extremely overpriced.

Needed refrigerator repairs so called and made appointment. Was given a four hour window 8 am-12pm six days away. Technician called at 10 am on scheduled day to say we were the last appointment within that window. Called Sears Home Services at 12:15, Edna in Phillipines told me to just wait. Wouldn't transfer to her supervisor but I insisted and she finally relented. However the call was disconnected when she said she was transferring. I called back and spoke to Don who also just told me to wait, the technician would probably be here within an hour. Refused to transfer me to a supervisor but gave me another number to call. It was a number that will tell consumers if their appliances are on a recall list. What??? Why make a four hour window if meaningless? Other repair businesses, cable companies, other untilities will guarantee times given and compensate if appointment time is missed. Sears representatives were absolutely not interested in my query, were curt, and just kept repeating from what seemed to be a script. This is bad customer service and as a long time Sears customer, I see why their entire business is suffering. I will never use them for any repairs again, nor purchase appliances from them. No support at all.
