| Pamela Uschuk | Fahrenheit was prompt about responding to our call for service, and I appreciate that. They had to order a part for our old, but efficient heater. The master repairman seemed intent on replacing the system, which I didn't want to do without a second opinion. He pushed hard, but ended up ordering the part. Once the part was here, there was a problem with it. The second part came, but there was a delay in sending out the serviceman with it, so our renter had to live without heat overnight when the temps dropped to 20 degrees. He replaced it the next day, and the heater is working fine. I was astonished at the bill. The 80/hour labor charge knocked the bill out of the ball park for us. I looked up statistics, and the highest labor charges for furnace repair in the country are in Alaska at 29 an hour. Next time, I will call another company. |
