Wow, the guy who came out couldn't fix a sandwich let alone a dishwasher. His "diagnoses" didn't make sense at all, to make matter worst he said it didn't meet code because it didn't have an air gap. Well because of this guy telling the home repair insurance company it wasn't at code it was the whole time they put the breaks on repairs until it was at code. they gave us a chance to pay for our own inspection and they would listen to what they said then determine what to do. Because it was a new home purchase now we have to call the real estate person and the home inspector who's report stated the home was at code including the dishwasher. So now the agent calls the insurance company and got them to send somebody else out and the home inspector had to come back and show us that there was an air gap and the dishwasher was at code. The new repairman came and did an actual diagnoses and confirmed the dishwasher is a code and needs a new control board. STEVE APPLIANCE caused several people a lot of time and money because they do not appear to know what they are doing. Stay away from them.

Wish it was possible to give negative stars. So I gave this place a chance because there werent many reviews and some were really good. I called and the person said the guy will be out at 2 he didnt show up till 4 or 5. Ok, people run late sometimes. Well he came and said the hoses to my washer weren't connected correctly. My boyfriend told him no he believes its leaking from the bottom. The guy insisted it was the hose. So he "fixed" the hose and left. Well the water was still leaking so I called the company back 3 times. Each time the person answered and said they would send someone back out. No one ever showed up and I never received a call. The last time I called the person that answered the phone said they would charge me 35 again to send someone out. I explained that they didnt fix it the first time when he was told where it was leaking from and the lady said o well u will have to pay for the parts to fix it. I said of course. she said he would be out at 2. The guy never showed up and I never received a call. I am done with this place, save your money. I will never go back to this place.
