We didn't expect a call back until the next business day but Kevin returned our call on Sunday afternoon and walked us through potential issues affecting the appliance. After this first level of troubleshooting, we agreed he needed to come to our home. We scheduled for the following Tuesday at 2 pm. He arrived on time and immediately started working on the refrigerator. After investigating the problem, he concluded we needed a new control board, which I thought would be more costly than what we wanted to spend on this 15-year-old appliance. Kevin readily discussed the cost of the board and the related labor costs, both of which we found very affordable. After installing the board, the cool air flow in the refrigerator still wasn't what Kevin expected so he removed the bottom freezer inside back panel and discovered the unit was all frozen over. He then had to defrost everything to improve the air flow to the top refrigerator. Once everything was defrosted, he put the freezer back together and cleaned up his work space. This morning, approximately 18 hours after repairing the appliance, both the refrigerator and the freezer are at their nominal operating temperatures. As I said at the beginning of this review, Kevin's work is outstanding and the cost of the repair was significantly below our expectations.
