Kay Wales | I am extremely disappointed in not being reimbursed for at least 300 for food loss; I am being reimbursed for only 250. My freezer was packed--we had just shopped at Costco and therefore we lost all of that and much more. When we found our list of loss food had not been taken by the repairman when he installed the new parts, I called Sears and talked to a woman who wrote up a list while I told her what had been lost. She kept saying that if I claimed my list was over 300 the claim would be denied. Why would I not be reimbursed by at least the 300 if more than that amount was spoiled? Why is the claim denied arbitrarily in its entirety because the loss total was over 300. This doesn't make sense, and why should that woman seem to have the authority to shorten my claim loss to 250 when it was over 300? We bought the extended warranty for a reason, but it was not fully honored by Sears. I would like answers to these questions please. I am requesting someone call me. |
pam dean | Initial visit ended with a part ordered and a repair scheduled for the following week. Received a text the day before confirming my appt, then a 2nd text stating I needed to reschedule due to a technician calling out. Next available appt was 2 weeks later, and if course no one could do anything about it even though we'd had already paid 370. Cancelled service. Will find someone else to put in the part sitting in my living room. |
