Violet Collier | Has not been a nice experience with Sears Appliance Repair. The problem was with the plastic left on the doors when refrigerator was delivered 3-4 years ago. I thought the plastic was to stay on the doors. The plastic was looking bad, so a couple of months ago I was at sears to buy a water filter and I asked why plastic was not on the doors and was advised plastic was supposed to be removed at delivery by the ones he delivered refrigerator. So I called to have the plastic removed. I was given a date and time. When tech. came he let me know he did not want to remove the plastic he thought he was to fix door handle. Well he and the girl with him removed the plastic, but could not remove the residue from the plastic. He filled my trash can with the plastic without asking and used my paper towels without asking. Small pieces of plastic was left on floor. I called Sears Appliance Repair to advise the tech could not finish the job and also about being rude. I was given another date and time. On that date no one came or called. So I called Sears about that and was given another date and time, when he came he was very kind and I explained all to him. He tried to remove the residue but was not able to. He brought his own cleaner and paper towels and left no mess. I would like to talk with the person in charge to find out what is next. I left a message to call me but nothing so far. At this time I do not recommend Sears Appliance Repair to anyone. It take me 2-3 calls to get to the right department, then it is hard to understand what they say on each of the calls. There is a language barrier on almost every call. I hope this can be resolved soon. |
sue stottlemyer | our Tech James was very polite and knowledgeable person. He even explained we could save money off our bill by taking out Sears home warranty. The offer would be great but Sears wants to much money. Next time I will call a different company. |
