Andy Last | Was told my 3400 wall oven would fit in replacement of my current one. Was also told over the phone and in a message that it would be 40 to deliver and install it. When I got there the owner was there instead of the salesman . He made a comment about how he knew we were in a pickle and needed it before Thanksgiving so wouldn't budge at all on any pricing. I was thought I was told the 70 fee was for the service men to come out. When I checked the invoice it was a 70 delivery fee, 30 hook up fee and a 10 haul away fee. Not exactly the 40 I was told initially. The oven also doesn't fit. So now we have to get our cupboards redone because you can see a gap on both sides and screws sticking out. When I called to talk to the owner explaining we were unhappy. We have bought over 10,000 of stuff from this store and hoped the owner would at least say sorry. But instead he blamed me said I misheard and that's my fault. Said even though my old oven fit and he promised this one would it's whoever cut the cupboards the first time, they did it wrong. I told the owner all I was looking for was an apology not an argument and that we probably won't be shopping there anymore, his response was to hang up on me. Sucks too because I prefer to support small locally owned businesses over the big box stores. |
