Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Racine, Wisconsin

Terrible experience with Sears Appliance Repair. I thought I could trust Sears Appliance Repair to fix my Kenmore washer. After they cancelled several appointments they finally made it out. What a hastle it was having to block off 5 hour time slots and wait only for them not to show the first two times. When they did finally show they looked and said they can't service the machine because the UPC sticker was smudged and they couldn't determine what model number it was. Really? There is no part number on the pump that needs to be replaced? I recommend you don't waste your time with this company. Don't be fooled by the "Sears" name. Instead, call a local repair guy that won't treat you like a number.

So. We had to wait 4 days to have them drive out. We told them what was happening and make model etc. They came out to tell us what we already knew was wrong...charge us 80 dollars for the trip charge and then not come with the part to repair it. The worst part...was that it is only a 40.00 part and they were going to charge me 400.00 to repair it IN 3 WEEKS! What a joke. Who can go without their fridge that long? Only to pay nearly half the cost of a new fridge? So....they got my 80.00. But will not have my future business.
