Appliance Repair by Carlton Automotive in Oostburg, Wisconsin

When I called, a person answered on the FIRST RING. I took my wife's 2010 Subaru Outback with 91K miles in because after being in Florida for two months it would not start upon our return. I know Carlton does AAA service so we arranged for them to come out and jump the battery. I drove the car for 15 minutes after idling it for 10 minutes. When we tried to start the car today less than a week later, it was dead. I put a battery charger on it and it started. After calling Carlton they said just bring it over. In less than an hour which includes my travel time of 30 minutes, they had tested my battery, found it needed replacing, and replaced it. I've been dealing with our local Subaru/Honda dealership for maintenance for years and often had trouble scheduling or have been disappointed with some aspect of their service including the fact that they are twice as far away as Carlton. I'm planning on having Carlton do ALL of my future auto maintenance. They have attentive, intelligent workers, are easy to talk to and are local. I am confident that they will serve me well years into the future.

Outstanding, truly. They go above and beyond from offering a loaner vehicle for long service, comfortable waiting area, early hours for drop off, clear information and genuinely caring attitudes. Everyone, including the owner, steps up to not only acknowledge your presence but to provide service for your needs and follow through. I feel like they are honest and pride themselves on integrity. I purchased a used vehicle and have since returned for service on that as well as other vehicles in my household and never feel taken advantage of as I have felt many times at other dealerships and mechanics. Carl even took my 3 year old for a tractor lawn mower ride as I signed paperwork and he absolutely loved doing laps around the building.
