| Yvonne Louie | Took my three and a half year old pair of Birkenstock Arizona's in oiled tobacco leather this past spring for restoration. This means they take the straps and put them into a new footbed, cork, and sole. I decided to do this because those were my first Birkenstock's ever so there was sentimental value. They had both regular and narrow width footbeds and soft vs original footbed choices available. They told me the price I believe it was roughly 90 for the original regular footbed, I paid, and was given a ticket for claiming my shoes when they were ready. It took about a week for them to be restored, but it was definitely worth the time and money. Not only did I get to keep the straps from my first pair of Birkenstock's, I felt like I got a new pair for 35 less than buying new new. I really recommend Ardesson shoe repair for any work you need done on some Birkenstock's. They also sell lots of different Birkenstock style in store! |
