Appliance Repair by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Tappahannock, Virginia

Picked up a 100' roll of ground wire and some lumber. Noticed employees blocking the exit, four employees barricade style. Loss prevention? Possibly due to the copper wire. It was evening, store was fairly empty. Not the first time I have observed this response. Always when picking up electrical wire. I'm sure theft is a problem. Never observed this phenomena at any other hardware store. What else is there to say, you are shopping at the second or third best hardware store. Actually overheard one of the employees say" I don't think he is a runner" left amused and slightly insulted. Do I look like a theif Lowe's? Had an employee tell me I didn't need the conduit I was buying because the wire was outdoor rated. It is needed, the wire is running under a dock. Just glad I know better and didn't listen to his unsolicited advice. Lowe's employees are not to be trusted. The lumber looks great. Store is clean. Well staffed , from my observations. Small store, by Lowe's standards.

As always... the gal in Appliances was great.. knows her inventory.. we were in and out in 10 minutes I'd bet with delivery of new fidge done and paid for.. the only negative if it even can be one is they didnt have exact model we wanted and it had to be ordered..
