Kristin F | We had a terrible experience with this company. We ordered a refrigerator and microwave from Home Depot on 7/5/19. This company is the supposed liaison between Home Depot and the 3rd party, contracted out delivery service, Forward Air. There were 5 scheduled delivery dates and there was something wrong each time. Our salesman neglected to tell us beforehand that the delivery people would not be able to connect the water lines, so we refused delivery. On the 2nd delivery, the refrigerator was dented, so they took the appliances back. On the 3rd delivery, they did not have the microwave or the upgraded, braided water line we ordered. On the 4th delivery attempt, they called and told us the truck broke down. On the 5th delivery, they did not have an order for the haul away of the old appliance, which we had paid for. After the 3rd delivery, I called Home Depot. A manager told me the order had been refunded. I talked with several managers at both Home Depot and GE Home Delivery Services, but no one could explain what happened, why our order had been cancelled, or why we were issued a refund. My husband checked his credit card statement and it does show that a refund was issued on 7/31/19. A manager at GE that I spoke with on 8/17/19 told me the order was cancelled on 7/15/19, which was actually our first delivery date. I cannot understand why, if our order was cancelled on 7/15, 4 more deliveries were scheduled. No one at Home Depot or GE knows what happened to our order. I talked to a manager named 'Bob' at GE on 8/19 to try and find out what happened with our order, and he has not called me back as of today 8/21. It's like our order slipped into a black hole, and no one was willing to accept responsibility for it and investigate what happened. And no one has contacted me to offer an apology. We will never order any GE appliances or any appliances from Home Depot again. |
Coriah Meckes | HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! We bought a GE dryer in November 2018. The last week in July 2019 we contacted GE Appliance Services because our dryer was broken. We have a one year warranty. On August 1, 2019 we had a technician Rob come and check our dryer. He was not sociable, very quiet, and rude. He told us that he had to order parts. On August 9, 2019 AAR Appliances left a voicemail stating that our parts were on backorder and they would receive them by August 29, 2019. We never got a phone call on August 29. Today, September 4, we called GE Appliances to find out where our parts were. GE told us that we were on the schedule for tomorrow for it to be fixed. Then, the GE associate called AAR Appliances and got Adrienne on the line. She told us that some of the parts for the dryer came in, but they are still waiting for one part. It is on backorder until September 23. We will be without a dryer for 2 months. & the GE associate never came back on the line and the call disconnected. This is the WORST company ever. DO NOT waste your time or money with GE! |
jessica hunter | The technician tech 201 came out didn't diagnose my stove yet charged me the diagnostic fee! Ordered the parts and charged me the shipped to my home in my name after I paid for them! He then came back a week later was unprofessional and rude after asking him to leave he left my stove in pieces and STOLE my parts after we called the company the returned the money for parts but refused to return the diagnostic fee however after speaking with the company the technician then called my cell phone refused to give us his name refused to speak with the owner of the home and the stove then refused to give us the customer service number got rude and unprofessional refused to return the parts after hanging up the call he called back again! I had to block his number I called back into the company again this morning and they refused to return the diagnostic fee again but offered a rebate towards a new stove not even in the amount I even PAID them! I'm so done with them! I contacted the better business bureau! These people are SCAMMERS |
