First they told us they did have wood pelletswe called ahead as we must drive 60 miles, when we got there they said they were outside. Nope...6 bags all broken open. Back to the Customer service. "They are outside". We told her what we found. After many mic calls a lady came over and said they were by the lawn mowers...and walked off. There were quite a few employees and not one offered to help load our bags of pellets40 pounds each. A young man watched my husband who is well past 70. No help to load the car. At least the cashier was lovely. |

| Beverly Rhoads | This Lowe's is the most unprofessional Lowe's store I've ever encountered. More than once, I've placed orders for things that have to be special ordered, and once you've paid for your item, the store forgets you exist. The floor staff is helpful and knowledgeable, but the management is unresponsive and unable to resolve even the most basic issue. I special-ordered a top of the line Pella patio door and paid for Lowe's installation in October. It is now Jan. and I've heard from no one. I called last week, and after about an hour on the phone and three callbacks, the Customer Service person said that the door was in and the installer would phone me. Crickets for a week--no word from Lowe's. When I called the store today to locate my door and see to installation after 45 minutes on the phone waiting for a manager to pick up, I was told that the door couldn't be installed in my house so it was never ordered. The manager who finally dealt with my issue assumed an unprofessional posture, calling me by my given name as if we were somehow acquainted. Unprofessional and demeaning. I am driving to the store to get a refund, and I will never, never consider using Lowe's again for an install. Unfortunately, given the mega-conglomerate has run the small, community-minded lumber/hardware stores out of business, I am forced to continue to shop there. |
