Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Chesapeake, Virginia

I have already written of my experience with this new repairman. NOTHING was done. He ran a diagnostic test, but no cleaning was done at all. In the past, the regular service man would clean the dishwasher thoroughly. This new service man was polite and clean, but was NOT like the regular service man that would come in the past.

The technician, James B, went above & beyond the call of duty to repair our refrigerator. He diagnosed the problem was the condenser, which would have to be ordered. He then keep checking the compressor, which had been replaced 2 years ago, because it was doing odd things. He finally decided to be safe and replace the compressor. Both parts would have to be ordered, and we would have to wait for a week to get the refrigerator working again. James surprised us by returning at 4PM with the parts. He found them in another location and had them delivered by courier. He worked past 9PM to repair the refrigerator! Outstanding service, THANK YOU JAMES!!

I have used Sears Repair for years. I highly recommend them, especially if you have elected to purchase the insurance coverage. It has paid for itself.

My dishwasher stopped working on Christmas Eve 2019 with a house full of guests for dinner. It was warranted by Sears. I called as soon as possible after holidays. It took until last week in January to get the parts needed. The technicians called shortly before coming so that I did not have to stay home all day and were very helpful .

Charles D. was our assigned technician, he was wonderful to work with. He has been assigned to work on our dishwasher before and is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He was on time and called to let us know he was on the way. Once here he promptly took care of our problem.
