Candice Lambert | Well I went in and ordered a pizza. Sat there for an hour and a half, when finally a worker approached me and asked if she could help me. Told her how long I had been waiting for my pizza, and she asked if I heard them talking about how long my pizza had been sitting there. Yup, that's right. This lady was relying on someone eavesdropping to determine when the food they ordered was ready. It had been sitting there for around 40 minutes, and neither the lady who took my order nor the lady making the pizzas could connect the dots to figure out that the random girl sitting at the only table in the establishment had ordered the pizza. I asked her why they asked for my name on the order if they weren't planning on calling it out, and I kid you not, this 50+ something year old woman shrugged and said "people usually call in and pick up." I have worked fast food and retail most of my life and I am always really understanding of mistakes, but there was no excuse for this. |
