I was really looking forward to leaving Steve and the shop a good review but unfortunately that can't happen. Our cars check engine light came on 1/3/2020 and our brakes locked up. Got it to a relatives house in Pampa. Started calling around to see how could fix it. Steve was recommended by more than one person so we decided to go here. They were super nice and towed it for us. I let them know I was going to be induced to have a baby 1/9 so they should call my husband. We were told they would look at it 1/7 or 1/8 at the latest. 1/10 comes around and we still don't have a call about what might be wrong so I call them. Steve wasn't in the shop so I was told I'd get a call back the next Monday, 1/13 but no call. I call 1/14 and was told he still doesn't know what's wrong but he would look at it 1/15 and call us back by the end of the week. 1/20 comes around and no call but that's a holiday so I decided we'd wait until 1/22 for a call. No call. I call 1/22 and Steve gave me a little information about what was wrong but he still needed to check the timing so he was going to take the valve cover off and check that, call me back and let me know. No call 1/22, 1/23 or 1/24. I call 1/27 saying I needed to know exactly what was wrong or I'd have to take it somewhere else, wasn't able to talk to Steve, requested a call back. I didn't get a call back so I just showed up the afternoon of 1/27. Steve said the timing was on and basically couldn't figure out what was wrong outside of the vacuum pump and sensors he'd already replaced. So we make a plan to load it up. Get it to a dealership in Amarillo. They call us back within four days of having the day and let us know the timing was not on and the sensors Steve had replaced where also broke. There were a couple other things wrong that the dealership said should have been obvious but that Steve either missed or broke himself digging around in our car. Steve had our car for three weeks, caused more damage and couldn't diagnose a simple in the mechanical world issue like the timing being off. So incredibly disappointed in the service we received. We told Steve we were moving out of state the beginning of February and obviously needed our car for the move. Our move is now delayed because he had our car for three weeks with awful work done and horrible communication.
