The repairman was great and did the job I asked for on ordering up the service. However, I was stunned to find out that just having him come was 90. I have always had repair services say: we will charge you X to diagnose but that charge will become absorbed in the labor if you want us to do the work. So I call with the exact diagnosis. I was charged for the guy to drive to and knock on the door. Then I was charged again for the labor and parts. Sears, you used to be an institution. Now I understand why you are going under.

Great customer service, fixed my washer in less than 30 min. He was very helpful, explained the problem and the solution and fixed the problem. He also saved me lots of money by enrolling into the monthly plan and the cost of the current repair was even cheaper. He gave me great tips. I've always been very happy with Sear's Repair Services.

The technician was extremely competent and polite. He did much more than I expected. took things apart and helped remove all the ice that had been formed. When finished, he said "like new!"

Call out was too high. Rep was impatient and rude. My washer had an electrical burn smell and the cord was warm to the touch. I felt it was somewhat of an emergency but the earliest appt was 4 days later and this was one of their appliances.

Called for appointment and was pleased to get one the very next day - no long wait! Technician came early in my window of 1:00-4:00. Quick and efficient, Michael replaced my ice maker, then gave the coils a thorough cleaning. I am very pleased with the service.

The repair man did an outstanding job. The scheduling and routing people need to learn what customer service is all about. Twice they either changed the schedule without my approval or didn't show up at all.

I schedule a repair appointment for my washer and thy sent out a technician that stated to me when he arrived that he was hear only to do a yearly service check up and that he wasn't a repair technician. I had schedule a repair appointment for my microwave a few weeks earlier and thy did the same thing for that schedule appointment and sent out a technician that again stated that he was only hear to do a yearly service check up and he wasn't a repair technician. I don't know what sears repair service is trying to pull, it seems to me that thy are avoiding having a number of registered repair appointment on record so that if this issue continues thy can cheat me out of the number of times that a repair technician has come out and hasn't corrected the issue. Because in there contract it states that after a set number of schedule repair appointments in which thy do not correct the issue that thy will have to replace the unit! So I give them a minis zero stars on my rating.

In the past I have had great service from Sears. Not this time. The repairman was a total idiot. I don't believe he knew anything about my refrigerator other than to open the door. So, the deal was I would be charged 99.00 to diagnose the problem. My problem was that I had little or no flow from the water dispenser and thus the ice cubes in the Ice Maker were extremely small. His diagnosis, the water flow is too low. Nothing as to what the problem was. So he said he needed to move the refrigerator out, but wanted me to sign some waver if anything was to get broke inside. I did not sign the waver, but, I went inside and removed anything that might break. So then he tugged on the unit and it did not move. So then I pushed the unit fro the top and it was able to move after that. He moved the unit out and discovered that the water line was being pinched at the back by the unit. so then the water line was moved and the water flow returned to near normal volumes. So the unit was pushed back in and I said that we must test the water dispenser as it was not flowing the correct amount of water volume as was showing on the display. 8 ounces of water was showing to be 32 ounces. So then the guy starts looking on his computer for any technical bulletins. He then proceeds to tell me that there is an electronic controller board for this function and a new one would be 650.00 to replace. So then I asked him if he was sure this was the problem as he had not even looked at the controller board or had done any diagnosis on it. He mumbled something to the fact that he really did not know how to do that. So finally, I said, you know this is sort of like a computer. Shouldn't we unplug from electricity from the unit and plug it back in to just let it re-boot. So then he pulls the unit out again and unplugs the unit. The dispenser is spot on and dispensing the correct amount of water. So then he has me sign the bill. Not only is the 99.00 for diagnosing the problem, which he never really did, but a 15.00 charge for fixing the problem. I said to him that I should be charging him for me suggesting how to fix the problem. So the cherry on the cake of this so called repair is that after he left, we noticed that there was a ding about the size of a quarter in the stainless Steel door just below the water and ice dispenser. Calling about that is a WHOLE ANOTHER STORY THAT IS STILL IN PROGRESS. Oh, yes, the Ice cubes are larger, but still not full size.

Service is good. However the refrigerator after 3 attempts is still not working. The guys who came were very nice.

ice machine was defrosted but the mechanism that brings the ice down doesn't work. Will have to reschedule another repair.

I was very unimpressed by the repair person that came to "fix" my washer. I knew my washer wasn't working but he performed some "tests" and told me that it was working for him. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to change the way I've washed clothes because the way I washed my clothes for the past 6 years was now becoming a problem. What professional actually tells someone that and doesn't actually look into the problem anymore? I ended up having to call another technician out a few days later to get the correct diagnosis, which was an actual issue with my washer. Very lazy and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend.

The Sears scheduling department cancelled our service on our dryer in warranty 5 times! There is no way to reach the actual service department. When I asked for the direct phone number I was told that the department is "too busy to speak to customers"! The service techs are extremely unreliable and cannot be on time for an appointment because the scheduling department overbooks! Then they don't move the appointment to the next time slot - it is moved to a time slot 2-3 days later - and then they cancel! Including ordering the part, it took almost 4 weeks to get the dryer fixed! Do not buy anything that needs to be serviced from Sears!!!
