My refrigerator is not cooling and the tech came in and never took his tools out but indicated that the problem with ice build up was due to a leak that would cost more to repair than fix it. My warranty company only wanted to pay 650 for a 2k fridge. I paid for the tech call Called Sears and this tech took the back off, grabbed his tools as well as made a call into technical support to validate problem. Part was ordered and arrived later that week. Total 450 to include tech visit. I get the feeling that when a warranty is involved they don't have to work as hard to diagnose and repair problems. |
