| Vanessa Metker | Years ago I became a Chevron credit card holder. I filled up at the Chevron. Then Texaco and Chevron merged and my new choice was the Texaco. The owner was pretty cool and the store was the cleanest and most well stocked store around. He had consistent hired help and he was on a first name basis with all of his local customers. He had an employee named Gloria Abrego born and raised Glen Rose woman that was gold! Later, he sold this location to another person. Gloria stayed employed. Recently, these current owners have become very difficult to work for and have berated and verbally abused their best employee. As a result, Gloria has finally left Texaco after 15 years of service. Texaco Tiger Mart has lost me as a customer....and my credit limit! |

I had came to town to visit my parents and came In on our way out to buy a late night snack and one of the candy bars was open and had a bite taken out of it... we called and told them and the lady decided to insult my integrity and accuse me of doing it... I'm not sure how to portray that as I'm a bussiness owner myself.. we were not trying to call and get stuff for free hints we already paid for that and multiple other things and instead just inform them somebody is stealing their merchandise and she started yelling at us for it... my families a very popular and respected family in Glen rose everybody knows them and knows we would never ask for something for free nor treat others how they have now treated us... if you want anything in the evening time after the other stations are closed I would advise you to drive to Granbury or cleburne the way these people disrespected us tonight was 100 frowned open in the bussiness world. Not only did we buy gas but we came inside to purchase snacks and drinks too... total we spend 83 dollars with them tonight and that's what they do to you..? Thank you for showing your true colors I will spend my money else where. |
