| Scott Sartain | I want to pass on accolades to three awesome businesses in Daingerfield and Mount Pleasant on outstanding customer service and how much I appreciate them taking care of their customers - namely me! Yesterday, I posted a photo of a cracked wheel on my 09 Toyota Tundra pickup. The crack was discovered after I had taken my truck in for unrelated repairs and maintenance at McRae's Automotive in Daingerfield. After learning of the damaged wheel, I called Everett Toyota in Mount Pleasant this morning to inquire about obtaining a new wheel. As it turns out, the wheels were an aftermarket specialty item installed on Texas Edition trucks. The wheels are no longer made and I was informed I would need to purchase another manufacturer's aftermarket wheels. After consulting with Scott West at Texas Tire & Brake in Daingerfield, Mr. West discovered my wheels were subject to a recall. I cannot point fingers at anyone as to why I wasn't initially notified of the recall. In the defense of Everett Toyota in Mount Pleasant, they were not the dealership owners when I initially purchased the truck in 2009. I quickly recontacted Everett Toyota in Mount Pleasant concerning Mr. West's discovery and they confirmed the recall. I later received a telephone call from Brian Roberts at Everett Toyota in Mount Pleasant who stated the dealership would honor the warranty, and had ordered me four new wheels to be installed on my pickup, at no charge. Great job by Michael G McRae Sr. Traci Lynn McRae Scott West and Everett Toyota of Mount Pleasant for taking care of your customers. Needless to say I'm very pleased at how my dilemma was handled.
