Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in College Station, Texas

When our LG refrigerator/freezer less than 5 years old quit freezing, we began checking first with the seller Home Depot, who refused to consider repairs because we hadn't purchased their extended warranty. No one else in our city Huntsville, TX would work on LG refrigerators... except Sears. Our repairman arrived ready to "git 'er done." He verified that the issue was indeed a failed compressor. We saved 50 of the repair costs by purchasing a contract with which we'd use Sears' repair services for appliances this next year. Quite happy that Sears' guys know what they're doing!

I'm a DIYer and could have fixed my dishwasher myself. Nothing was attempted that I hadnth already done but I thought the access to the part would be available to him. But he told me the part not available for him either so I was out the visit charge with no repair made. I ended up buying a new d/w. The parts are no longer available? That should have been known before the repair visit was made. I mean this was a dog/pony show that I paid 80+ for that i could have saved that plus the time wasted on the scheduling of the visit.

Our fridge was leaking water and then all of our food froze in the fridge so he had to get another part to control that. such a mess. He was very nice and patient.
