| Louis Ancira | Completely dissatisfied with the entire encounter. Technician gave me a quote to repair my appliance. He arrived two days later to fulfill his commitment at which time he informed me that another part would be required which doubled the amount of the original quote bait and switch. I questioned him about the inaccuracy of his original quote and he admitted that his prior quote was wrong. I declined the new quote as it was not cost effective to pay more for the repair than the appliance was worth. He had the nerve to ask me for a service fee. Had his estimate been correct i would have fixed the appliance and no service fee would have applied. I contacted the Manger of The Appliance Doctor and she stated that the service fee was for i quote "knocking on the door". She didn't seem to understand the concept of commitment and honesty. As if The Appliance Doctor has no obligation to give you an accurate diagnosis and estimate. To make it worse there was no attempt to accommodate in any way and she didn't even have to decency to empathize or apologize for the poor service until i mentioned it to her. The Appliance Doctor. More like The Appliance Quack. Use at your own risk!!!! |
