purple at momworld | the owner of the Jackson store made this right. the experience with the Lexington store owner was still not greatMy experience has not been great at all. Their customer service has been awful. We bought a Samsung washer/dryer from the Lexington store about a month ago. The washer is fine so far but the dryer stopped heating up & drying the clothes shortly after we bought it. It had a 30 day warranty on it so I called & asked if someone could come fix it. I knew that on the receipt it said that we would have to bring the dryer back in order for them to fix it but due to backs not being so great in my family & work schedules it was going to be a huge inconvenience so I asked if they could arrange for someone to come get it or just fix it in my home & although seemingly put out by this the man that runs it agreed. He stated he would put my name & number down & call me back when he could get to me so having a family of 6 I asked when did he think he would get to us? I mean we paid over 300 for the dryer alone & I felt we deserved some sort of priority but clearly, they did not feel the same way. He said he would try to get to me by that Saturday but was extremely busy. Okay, I understand that so I waited. We heard nothing that Saturday or any of the following week so the next Saturday I called back only to find that the man running it was apparently not answering my phone calls anymore and his voicemail was full. I tried calling a couple of more times before I called the Huntingdon store to try and get some answers. The man running that store informed me that it was his brother that ran the Lexington store & either him or his brother would call me right back. He was going to call his brother then one of them was to call me. I heard nothing back so a few hours later I tried calling him back & got a similar story to what his brother in Lexington had given me. He's busy but he'll call you right back. It's now Wednesday & that was Saturday. I've now hired someone else to fix my dryer which turns out is a simple fix if they would've just come to see or called me back & given me some sort of answer. So, now I'm having to pay for a dryer that had a warranty on it simply because this company is severely lacking in customer service. |
