Appliance Repair by Alltemp Comfort Services LLC in Winnsboro, South Carolina

Alltemp was subcontracted to install the HVAC system on my new house. Within 2 1/2 years, the system has broken down about a half dozen times. The most recent time, I called them and told them the problem. When they visited, they did not have the part that I told them was bad on the truck and said they'd be back. Two weeks later, they have not returned. I have called the office 5 times and left messages on voicemail and with their answering service and have yet to receive a return call.

I only write these when the service you pay for isn't worth what you paid for. In the last 2 weeks I have left AllTemp multiple messages asking them to PLEASE JUST CALL ME back so we can discuss the issue. My last message was that if I didn't get a call back at a specific time I will writing a bad review. I guess they didn't care. So now why I am giving them a ONE STAR because I have to and not a negative star if that was available is because they did an ok job installing the two units outside and inside and also followed up on an issue that wasn't resolved by them but they did attempt to help within the first year. Now the reason for the ZERO is there customer service after the first year is horrible. I had and issue the first year with the copper tubing that is run between the walls from the outside unit to the upstairs air handler. The tubing rattles in the mud room wall every time the unit comes on. I will attach a video from this year after their two attempts to fix it. AllTemp came out to fix it Year 1. The noise didn't go away totally but it was manageable. Year 2 they had to come out again because the loud noise was back when we turned the AC units on for the first time that season. They told my wife, because I was deployed, that the rattling was coming from the tube vibrating against the brick foundation. Again whatever they did lessened the noise and she agreed that it was ok. If I was there I would NOT have accepted it. This year, Year 3, guess what, its back. Now AllTemp will not return my calls. They have an answering service that screens their calls. So it appears that they will only call people back if they want to. So my advice is to get the phone number that goes directly to the company. If not, I would be weary to use a company that didn't allow me to talk directly to them. A lesson I learned the hard way. There a lot of quality heating and air companies in the Midlands. I will be posting them with their links so you, the customer, will have better option than this ma and pa shop. Finally, I lived in the Winnsboro area for about ten years and have quite a few friends and acquaintances that live in that area that will no longer use this company because of this. I will continue to use my technology background to make sure that AllTemp receives the reviews they deserve. This is all because they do not have the integrity to do what is right. Something my parents taught me as well as the 24 years that has made me very successful in the military.

The staff is friendly and courteous! I had a preventative maintenance done on my heating and air conditioning system, the service tech was knowledgeable and helpful when answering any questions I had. I would highly recommend them for any of your heating and air conditioning needs!!
