Brad McNeely | Coming from someone who used all Kenmore appliances in my last house this is so discouraging. I moved into a new house a couple of years ago. The previous owners remodeled the kitchen before they moved. The refrigerator is a Kenmore Pro. The compressor went out on a Friday. I called a couple of repair places who said to call Sears because the compressor should still be under warranty. I was also told that the model I had was actually an OEM'd LG refrigerator so my expectation was already that it would be difficult to get parts. I called on Saturday and it was a disaster. I get that most call centers are off shored but the phone connection was so awful it was difficult to hear the operator. I was passed from one person to another person with the same call issues. I was initially told that it was under warranty and it would be over a week before they could get a technician to make an initial call. I said I would keep trying to find someone else on my own. They then said that they could get an authorized service center out to me on Monday but I would have to give them a credit card for a 80 service call but that if I elected to accept the service the charge would be applied to the service. I asked how that worked if it was a warranty call and I was told that I needed to give a credit card. I decided that I would go buy a new refrigerator from a company that would be easy to do business with and isn't hard to get parts for. Sears as fallen so far from the company it used to be. Very sad. |
Kia Benson | Awful service! The technicians they send out are lost. They come in and run out, and act like they have fixed the issue. Customer Service treated me like a criminal and lied to me about someone coming out again. I called back on a Monday and asked for a Supervisor and finally got some type of answers. The customer service reps wants the customer to be the Technician, and do all these diagnostic functions. No, this is the reason I paid good money for a warranty. Do your job! I have had with them, and when it's all done and said I will not ever buy another warranty from them Ever again. |
Guy Dean | The young man you sent was a delight to work with. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. |
