we have tried to get refrigerator repaired for almost a month , this is the third time it's been repaired , within 8 hours , fridge down again!!! we are now waiting to get 4th repair, hundreds of dollars of food ruined each time was told by Sears it had to breakdown 4 times in one year to be replaced,do you think they know they are selling junk?? paid 3200 for fridge not including extra for warranty, family's can't afford cost like these,and don't deserve too suffer these costly loss now will probably will take weeks to get 4th repair we do not qualify for replacement because our 4 breakdowns have been in 18 months Sears customer service should be illegal , this is so wrong !!!! will review again after 4th service call ,been trying to schedule all morning keep getting passed around

No problems with serviceman. However, the "all-day" service window 8AM-5PM is awful. Sears should be able to a narrow service visit window so a customer does not have to waste an entire day waiting!

Worst experience yet. They made us wait for 2 weeks the day of the appointment they cancelled and rescheduled for a month out!

The service tech was not the problem. He was very professional. The problem is he left before he made sure the refrigerator would reboot. It had been cooling just fine--just had the error code on the screen. After he did the rebooting procedure, the ref. never came on but he was gone.. The BIGGEST problem is that we can't get another tech out here for 20 days. From this experience, we are sure we will no longer buy any products labeled KENMORE. Not due to performance of the product,, but due to the fact that local repair people are unable to get parts for Kenmore products and will not work on them. This is a sad reality for Sears who is already having problems staying in the competitive market.

scheduled another appt, no one showed again , called Sears again kept getting switched to different Dept, don't know when someone coming, 2 no show appt in 2 weeks, I think they know they will be completely closing soon so they don't care , filing report with bbb todau

Needed a freezer repair tight away, as we were leaving and the food was defrosting. Quickest "emergency" response was in early December, 3 weeks away. A local company responded at once, diagnosed the issue and arranged for a same-day replacement. The old freezer was a Kenmore Elite, manufactured by Frigidaire, less than 6 years old. The compressor failed. Repairs would cost more than replacing the unit. No wonder Sears of going under.
