Rennie Sullivan | Great service - technicians were experienced and professional. |
Greg Steiner | So frustrating. I can't recommend using them. Go directly to a local repair service. I called Sears Appliance Repair and described the needed repair cracked oven glass and gave them the model and serial numbers. I stressed that they needed to bring the replacement glass in order to make the repair, which they acknowledged. They apparently set up an appointment with a third party repair service and gave me an 8 hour window even the cable company gives you a four hour window! with a promise that someone would call the morning of the appointment with a 2 hour window. By 11 am the day of the appointment, I had not received a call. I called them and they sent me to a call center I had to fight through the automated responses system to actually get a representative. When I got through I emphasized again the need to bring the part. They promised a call back with an update and did not. I called again two hours later and they promised a call back shortly - I reminded them to bring the part third time. Finally, the actual repair tech called. He DID NOT have the part because Sears never passed on the requirement. He ordered the part and will return later to make the repair. I lost an entire day waiting for what should have been a simple repair. |
