Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Wilkes-Barre Township, Pennsylvania

I had to wait over a week for service on my central air. The unit was leaking. The service person told me it was a dirty filter. We changed the filter. The unit worked for 4 hours and started to leak again. I called service again and was told it would be another week for service. I have multiple sclerosis so air conditioning is a medical ne essity more than a luxury. I spoke to a supervisor at Sears and was told that was the only appt. I have a master protection agreement with Sears. If they are unable to fix my unit I am entitled to a new unit under this agreement. However the service person told me I was incorrect. I had to pay for a new unit and I probably needed a new air conditioner. I tried to have my call escalated to no avail. I am totally disgusted by the service and their seemingly lack of knowledge. I am entitled to a new unit under the master protection agreement if they are unable to fix mine.

Horrible service, broken hand tools purchased under the Craftsmen lifetime warranty are useless. Calling sears' 1800 customer care you'll be transferred 3 times before being disconnected. Happened to me 3 times. Emails and requests on the craftsmen website go unanswered. Craftsmen is now JUNK throwaways. DO NOT BUY.
