Appliance Repair by A Whitman Appliance in Trevose, Pennsylvania

Pedro assessed the issue with my refrigerator. When the first replacement part didn't work he knew which part was needed. Within a week received the call for installation of the second new part. Pedro quickly fixed the issue. He was kind, pleasant to work with, and joked about the ice from my icemaker "attacking" him. Very pleased with my service. Also, the gentleman on the phone who called me from Whitman was very professional and polite. Great job to both gentlemen!

We had a over the range microwave that Frigidaire honored a warranty on. This company was the one chosen. Service guy came my husband was here and said he was great. Got the microwave working again. A few days later I tried to use the exhaust fan and it didn't work....called Whitman they said it was tested when they left and it's a new problem to get another work order from Frigidaire or they aren't coming out. Frigidaire scheduled an appt but didn't get new number. Ramon called me so rude and cancelled and said he told me to get a new number. Frigidaire found another company to come since Whitman wouldn't honor their 30 day guarantee. New company comes, and the fan was unplugged in the inside! No way they tested it because it didn't magically unplug itself. Just seems like a very dishonest company.

This is the worst company I ever dealt with. They are extremely unprofessional. I originally called GE since my appliance was still under warranty. Then GE appointed Whitman Appliance to my call. They told me I needed to get an outlet replaced in order for them to do the repair. I had the outlet looked at by an electrician and repaired. I called Whitman back to have the repair made and I was on the phone with them for about 15 minutes. I was continually put on hold and every time someone would come back to the line it would be a different person. The final “gentleman” told me my appliance's warranty ran out and I would have to pay out of pocket for the repair. The warranty does not expire until June of 2020. The way the the final “gentleman” spoke to me was more like we were on the street than how someone trying to professionally conduct a business should act. It was one of the most uncomfortable and ridiculous phone conversations I have ever had. I would never call this business on my own and I informed GE of how weird the man was on the phone. He “don't want no bad” reviews is what he said to me. It was like he wanted to fight. I wish I could leave a review with no stars.
