Appliance Repair by D J Hannon & Sons Inc in New Castle, Pennsylvania

I called DJ at 11am on a Friday for a clogged shower drain. They were able to have a guy out that afternoon so we didn't have to wait until Monday or pay Saturday overtime charges. The final bill was less than quoted which was a nice surprise. I deducted one star only because they didn't bring the correct size snake and had to return to the shop for the correct one even tho I told them the pipe size. However, they didn't charge me the extra time but it would have been done quicker.

Absolutely horrible experience. What should've been an hour job, we ended up getting charged 3 hours for because they didn't use common sense when they saw the problem wasn't where our clean out was in the yard and determined the problem was back at the house. However they proceeded to waste time and run the snake from the clean out to the house and it clearly didn't work before they finally went into the house when they should've done that in the first place! They clearly stretched it out because they get paid by the hour. They also left the house a mess, cap on the toilet on my sink, left appliances unplugged in my basement, hose unraveled outside and didnt turn the water off before they left. Will never recommend them to anyone. We should've went with what we had planned on doing in the first place before calling them. Never ever again!
