Appliance Repair by Gerhard’s Appliances in Ardmore, Pennsylvania

Have purchased several appliances from Gerhards to support a local business. Customer service is lacking, delivery is a joke and my oven, which is less than a year old no longer seals. Given the current circumstances, I didn't expect them to be open but their voicemail is full and there's no way of communicating with them. Will purchase appliances elsewhere. Have bought an oven, washers and dryers and a grill, all of which were more hassle than anything. Save your time, money and energy and buy elsewhere.

I recently ordered a refrigerator from Gerhard's and had a fantastic experience from first contact to delivery and installation. We've bought appliances from Gerhard's in the past and had good experiences. However, we made the mistake of ordering a fridge from a big box store this year. The big box stores do not use their own delivery company and they claim they can't take the appliances out of the box until it arrives at customer location. For us, this meant spending an entire morning emptying out fridge & disconnecting water line only to have a dented-up fridge show up. Realizing our mistake, I immediately cancelled the order and called Gerhard's, who had the fridge we wanted in stock and at a better price. Their delivery staff was fantastic - on-time, personable, and professional. They removed the old fridge and delivered the new one without incident. They set up the fridge and gave me a quick overview of how it worked. Just a perfect delivery experience, which I would argue is maybe the most important part of any appliance purchase.
