Appliance Repair by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Altoona, Pennsylvania

This Lowe's has always been very helpful from custom orders to everyday items. From techniques to ideas. My only complaint is that their people are not cross trained in multiple departments. That way is need be they could cover for someone who may be on break or ledt for the day. I spent almost an hour waiting to make an order for appliances while the young lady who was the only one working there was on the phone with the distribution center and several other stores looking for a part. Although when she was able to wait on me she was great!!!

I LOVE LOWES! However, upon a few visits, some of the employees are more interested in only talking to each other and comically avoid customers like the plague. Others are interested and happy to assist. The two thing we went in for was a light bulb to a light that we bought over the summer and they no longer carry its specific bulb. So we ordered it from amazon...much cheaper with free shipping, if you have prime. And although they carry our specific kind of wet/dry vac, they do not carry the filter?!?! We found the filter at home depot along with a ton of other things we probably would have bought at lowes but really needed the 2 items we went on for so was forced to look elsewhere. They do have great prices and typically have what we need and more. Just disappointed they wont carry the parts for equipment they sell.
