Vicki Mercado | My husband and I traveled from Idaho to an estate sale in Vale Oregon. Our sole purpose for the trip was to purchase one of the tractors that were available for sale. The sale began at 9:00 am and at 9:02 we had the tractor marked "sold". Shortly after that Mr Weatherby came by and bought the tractor out from under us. I spoke to him on the phone and he blamed the cashiers. He stated they should not have taken his money. Well Mr Weatherby, you should not have gone so far as to give them your money on an item that was already sold to somebody else. When I asked him to reconsider what he had done he stated "well I wanted it". I guess wanting something makes it okay to basically steal it. How sad. Happily we don't live anywhere near his business so we will never need his services. I highly doubt he's an honest business man. |
awolfalone2006 . | Took in my parents tractor. Transmission was shot. Took them a used transmission and told them to replace all the seals, check everything out, make sure it all functioned properly. They called and said it was done for the quoted price. Failed to tell us that they charged all the parts they needed to my parents account at a local parts store to keep it under the quote, so no, it wasn't under quote. Well, part of the used transmission did not work from the time it was picked up, even though they were told to go through everything. One of the brakes was locked up when my brother tried to take it home and they had to tow it back to their shop. The seal for the input shaft was leaking, and has since failed completely making the tractor unusable. The bolts for the drawbar are missing. When they were told about the seal leaking they said they would be out in two weeks to pick it up. A year later they still have not been out. Told us that they popped the top off the transmission and that was it. They refuse to stand behind their work, saying that they will charge us again to split the tractor. The owner has a high and mighty attitude that he is the greatest tractor technician in the area even when dealing with other trained technicians. Do not take anything to this place. I am an ASE certified technician myself with training in automotive, diesel, refrigeration, hydraulics, and service management from multiple sources and the only reasons that I didn't do it myself are time and not having the supports to split a tractor. This business is unprofessional and not worth your money. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. |
