| JS13 | friendly staff and a well lit store. It goes down hill from here. replacement Christmas bulbs? How many of you have Christmas lights decorating your house....I Do, I Do! Well don't go to Kerr Ace Hardware because they don't have any in stock and I haven't been able to get any on my last three visits to Kerr Ace Hardware over the last week and a half. Not sure why a store this size can't keep the shelves stocked. They have to special order just about everything. I can do that on Amazon. I really try to avoid using Amazon because I want the small business to survive and do well but when simple things like replacement bulbs for light strings can't be ordered in advance of Christmas then that's a problem. I have spent more time at the order desk then in any other store in town. It's really frustrating, not just about the bulbs but when I went in to get a 6 volt flashlight, they said they could order it for me, when I needed a 30 amp circuit breaker, nothing, they could order it for me. These are simple items and I know they sell but come on let's try a little harder to keep a couple of flashlights on the shelf. The store is also very expensive but I am willing to pay extra for the convenience of picking something off the self when I really need it. |
