I bought a refrigerator less than 4 years ago for about 3000.00, and didn't put a warranty on it for the fact that they wanted 800.00 for a 5 year warranty. I have had to have my fridge worked on 15 times since I bought it and have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food, the first time for the freezer the second time for the ice maker, and in the last 2 months I've had it worked on 10 times, in which they sent someone to my house and the repair guy was in such a hurry he ruined parts up inside my fridge that they couldn't even get to so they had to actually cut the back of my freezer to get to it and my fridge after 10 times is still not fixed, so I had to go buy a new one. So i went to home depot and bought a fridge for almost half the price and got a 5 year warranty with it for 295.00 and it is way better than sears could ever offer! If i were to tell anyone where to buy a fridge i would never reccomend sears ever again! |
