| Sarah Siemen | I took in a pair of tall leather boots to have a new zipper put in. The man had me pay upfront for the work. This was my first mistake. I paid 35 for the new zipper and the man told me they would be ready in about two weeks. I thought that was kind of along time just to put in a zipper, but I wasn't in a hurry, so I agreed. I never received a call when the boots were done. After 3 weeks went by, I finally went in. The man handed me my boots & I could not believe how AWFUL they looked! He cut the leather very unevenly and sewed in the new zipper extremely poorly causing the zipper to bunch up and catch when you try to pull it. The stitching is uneven. And then he used what looks like marker to cover up his shoddy work. I was so upset & stunned at how bad it was that i couldn't even bring myself to confront him. I left feeling sick. This man RUINED my boots. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. |
