Appliance Repair by Penn Station – Furniture and Home Decor in Wellston, Ohio

This company sold a stackable washer and dryer and claimed all appliances are in working order and guarentee them for up to 30 days. In fact, the set didnt even come with an electrical cord. The set would not drain at all once we got an electrical cord for it and attempted to use it. The owners sent a partner to check the appliance. He stated a wire was cut....proving they had not checked the appliance. They promised a new set the next day, and the next day, and the next day, for 2 weeks.....leaving my elderly mother waiting on them daily and having to go to the laundry mat to wash laundry with compression fractures in her back. Luckily the payment was made with paypal and a dispute has since been filed since they drug their feet on their 30 day guarentee. Now I wait another 20 days to see if paypal views in my favor. During this time, the owner swears the money has been sent to my paypal acct and it will probably just take time. Well I made contact with paypal twice and it is still an open case. I even sent a message saying if they would just replace the junk they sold me, I'd drop the dispute. So before junking the appliance, I paid 87 thinking I'd pay to repair this appliance only to hear that it would be 200 bc the wiring had been destroyed by mice and that it has a leak. So now I'm out 250 for the appliance, 60 for gas for the truck we had to borrow, and 87 to try to get it repaired and save my mom more troubles. So if paypal does not see in my favor for the 250 I will be further resolving this matter in court. So if you had any thoughts of getting appliances from here, save your money, the headache, the hassle and stress. I don't typically share bad reviews but I want to spare someone else from losing their hard earned money to a store that sells broken appliances and promises.
