I'm in my first year of music school as a sax player, and I buy a lot of vintage horns. I've been bringing my horns to Mark for around 3 or 4 years now, and he always does great work. He is reasonably priced and I've bought 2 horns from him in the past that both play wonderfully, and didn't cost that much. If I need to buy another horn Mark is the first person I call since he repairs them himself and doesn't ask that much money for them. He is also a really nice guy if all that wasn't enough. I can't recommend him enough.

I brought my son's Gemeinhardt Flute to Mark, he's had it for quite a while but it had belonged to a friend of mine, was over forty years old and in need of repair, cosmetic and functional. He cleaned it up to look new, replaced the pads and whatever else needed done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. It not only looks beautiful and new it plays perfectly too, my son was very happy with it. And he was a great guy to deal with, couldn't have been nicer.
