Appliance Repair by B&D Appliances Was D&S Appliances in Huber Heights, Ohio

I recently visited this store, to purchase a washer and dryer. The sets where reasonably priced and I was planning to purchase one. Only to find out they accept no form of payment except for cash. I told the sales woman I would go to the bank and procure the proper funding and return ; I was informed by the owners wife that there would be no one available to help me move them into my vehicle when I returned due to a delivery scheduled, which was fine because there were three people present and a medium sized SUV . The woman continually discouraged my purchase of the set due to the weight of the washer, her perception that it would not fit in our vehicle, and the fact that we were three women. She assumed we could not lift the products and would inevitably damage them. She then proceeded to ask if I know what I'm doing and if I know how to hook both appliances up when I have them in my home. To which I replied “I'm not as stupid as I look” She then stated that she was not intentionally insulting me ; however, I feel extremely insulted. She doesn't know me from anyone. For all she knows, I could be a plumber. Just because I am a woman does not mean that I am incapable of handling hooking up a washer and or dryer-Something I have done multiple times in the past. Her poor customer service and her presumptive abilities about my skill level robbed her of a purchase totaling 483.75 in cash today. Great job ! I had purchased a stove previously from here and was willing to give them repeat business but I will NEVER go there again. I will give my money to someone who is willing to help me out instead of insult me.

Bought a washer dryer set just before our move to the east cost of N.C. as our new apartment had hookups woohoo no more laundrymatt flash forward 2 and a half years everything still working perfectly. The lady there told us of the warranty the give on everything and I joked there was no way they could warrenty the set as they would need to send someone on a 1400 mile round trip to service them.... we all had a laugh definitely recommend especially if you want above the over priced entry level equipment but are on a shoestring budget and don't mind a little banged up... we got our moneys worth and then some. Small issues not even worth noting probably damaged during the move

Very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the fridge we bought completely died 4 months later. It's a dice roll to buy refurbished. After this was posted, a couple of guys did come out on their own time, out of their way, to check out the fridge. I find that very commendable!
