Appliance Repair by Big Sandy Superstore Corporate Office in Franklin Furnace, Ohio

Dear Public, I would like to let everyone know the type of treatment my family and I have received from Big Sandy Furniture. I purchased a New matching Stove and Refrigerator for my parents as a Christmas Gift. This was their first new set ever due to their income. I picked it up and delivered it on December 22, 2017 and my parents were so happy they could cook dinner for their family in their new stove and have a brand new refrigerator to put leftovers in. On December 24, 2017 the refrigerator stopped working and ruined our family dinner due to having to try to put a old one in the house because the new one went bad, not to mention the food my parents lost that was in the Freezer. I could not contact anyone until December 26, 2017 and they assured me it would be handled. Since then we have went back and forth with Big Sandy telling us they can not replace this due to it is a discontinued product. They have offered to give us a grey refrigerator that does not match any color of the stove, but I feel my parents deserve matching appliances that Big Sandy sold us. I would not buy a brand new car, since the window don't roll down put a grey door on a black vehicle to fix it. I spoke with Emily at the South Point Big Sandy yesterday and she was the most rude individual I have ever dealt with in sales or public interaction, her statement "accept the grey on or too bad, we have dealt with you enough" when I ask to just return both pieces she informed me I would still be stuck with a 10 restocking fee even though the appliance does not work. I also Spoke with Justin at this store and he agreed with everything I said on the phone, but then just ignored all conversation afterwards and refuses to respond. I have called and left several messages at the corporate office and they too just ignore the situation. How can a large company like this just keep running over hard working honest people? I tried to do something nice for my parents and this is what happened. Still on January 18, 2018 my parents are without their new appliances they were so happy to receive, and nobody from Big Sandy will call me back or get my Parents a matching set of appliances. Please be ware of what could happen to you and good luck with your future purchases. Funny thing is you can not post here unless you give them 1 Star, but in my book they deserve stars removed.
